আমাদের খুবই পরিচিত একটা ফুল হলো বাগান বিলাশ ফুল, আমদের দেশের প্রায় অধিকাংশ এলাকায় এই গাছ চোখে পড়ে।

বিশেষ করে অনেক মানুষের বাড়ির সামনের গেট অথবা পার্কের গেইটে এটি দেখা যায়। যার সৌন্দর্য্য যে কাউকে মুগ্ধ করে।

এই বাগান বিলাশ ফুলগুলো বিভিন্ন রঙের হয়ে থাকে, ১, লাল রঙের, ২, কমলা রঙের, ৩, হলুদ রঙের, ৪, সাদা রঙের, ৫, গোলাপী রঙের, আরো অনেক রঙের ফুল ফুটে থাকে এই ফুল গাছ থেকে। তবে বিশেষত এই উল্লেখ্য রঙের ফুলগুলোই সচরাচর পরিলক্ষিত হয়।

এই বাগান বিলাশ ফুল গাছ মূলত দক্ষিণ আমেরিকার নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পাওয়া যেত। কিন্ত পরবর্তীতে তার সৌন্দর্য্যতায় পর্যটকদের নজর কেড়ে নেয়, এবং পরবর্তীতে এটি বাংলাদেশে সৌখিন মানুষগণ তাদের বাড়ীর সৌন্দর্য্যবর্ধনে ব্যবহার করতো।

কিন্ত বর্তমানে এটি খুব সহজলভ্য ও অনেকেরই বাড়ির উঠোনে এবং প্রতিষ্ঠানের সামনেও দেখা যায়। ফলে এটি এখন আর বিদেশি ফুল Bougainvillea নামে তেমন পরিচিত নয়। বরং সকলেই এটিকে বাগান বিলাশ ফুল বা কাগজ ফুল প্রভৃতি নামে চিনে থাকে।

This is a woody vine like plant. Using its spike, it can easily entangle other plants or fence. Plant can grows 1-12 meter in height. Leafs are ovate shaped. The true color of the flower is white or yellow, red, pink, purple, orange, etc. The flower has three or six bracts having any of the mentioned colors. Doesn’t have any smell
